Dr. Lee Returning Home To Dine At Club 33

After working 28 years at Club 33, it was so wonderful to return, but this time I was the guest!
Mickey and Pluto seemed happy to see me and I was sure happy to see them. Honestly, I miss Club 33, being there felt like home.

Property Control works towards goal of zero waste:

From the 19,000 pairs of shoes donated to Goodwill to the original "Fantasmic!" dragon sent to the Walt Disney Archives, the Property Control team is leading the change towards our goal of zero waste at the Disneyland Resort.

Property Control repurposes items in a variety of ways; reissuing supplies to other departments, sending historical items to be archived, donating items to nonprofits, hosting merchandise sales, auctions and more. cast Members can visit the Property Control cage at Company D for sales on Disney theatrical costumes, furniture and other unique merchandise, or snag one-of-a-kind items through CastAuction.com, through which a portion of the proceeds are donated to local charities.

also....

For years, Guests staying at our Disneyland Resort Hotels were greeted by a newspaper each morning. While this practice provided the world-class service our guests expected, many unread newspapers were discarded and recycled daily as a result. And while recycling newspapers is great, it's even better not to waste the paper in the first place. Today, instead of delivering a newspaper to every Guest room, small stacks of  newspapers are placed in each elevator area for Guests to take as they please, translating into 250,000 fewer newspapers being printed- and then wasted-over the course of a year.

one more item...

saving used once crayons, about 4 pounds weekly are saved and donated to Goodwill of Orange County...

very cool...Dr Lee
