Best thing to having wings is to soar towards the sky in a Disneyland Rocket Jet.The Happiest Place on Earth falls far below as pint-size pilots fix their gaze on white clouds above Tomorrowland's soon-to-be-completed Space Mountain. In another direction looms the mighty Matterhorn, and beyond that,Sleeping Beauty Castle. All of it seen in a series of split-second glimpses as the Rocket Jets hurl future space pilots round and round again.
Disneyland Guests may be over-whelmed by the exhilarating feeling of sky-borne freedom as the 12 sleek Jets twirl and swirl as high as 60 feet above Tomorrowland. No wonder Man has always longed to fly and envied birds their wings.
Looking quickly, Guests can see America Sings and McDonnell Douglas Mission to Mars. Close by is the intriguing Submarine Voyage and three unique adventures in transportation- the Autopia, Momo-rail and Skyway systems.
In the other direction, Rocket Jets pilots and passengers can see beyond Bell System's America the Beautiful and Monsanto's Adventure Thru Inner Space attractions to the earthbound kingdoms of Adventureland, Frontierland and Main Street, U.S.A.
The altitude of each space-age Rocket Jet is controlled by the pilot, who pulls a lever to go higher, pushes it to go lower. Those who have flown the Jets say that the higher up you fly, the smoother the ride.
But whether high or higher, a whirling journey on a Rocket Jet is always a dizzying remembrance of Disneyland's land of Tomorrow. The exciting flight gives wings to Man and lets imagination leap to the heavens above.

Returning to School:
Tuesday February 23,2010, Dr Lee taught a 4th grade class and he survived! Arriving at 7:30 a.m. and after meeting with the teacher,we went to the playground.
Kids every-where,bell rings,it's class time. After introducing myself, the fun begins.
Subject, "Running a Business," income, profit and loss. My example was ,I am the landlord of a apartment complex and they are the tenants. Each pays me $50 dollars,
times 25 students. Total, $1250.00, they thought I was rich. However, I explained to them about taxes, insurance, wear and tear etc. Long story short, after I paid all my expenses on these apartments, I had approx. $50 dollars left. Most of these students were surprised by all my expenses,it was fun teaching them.
Now that I have "Give a Day, Get a Disney Day," I shall give my "Get a Disney Day Ticket", back to Disney so that it can be given away.
Again, if you have the time, get "volunteering" and see you at the Disneyland Resort.

Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings and Honeymoons:
From ship to shore and coast to coast:
Each year more than 1,200 couples celebrate their nuptials at a Disney destination. Whether a couple wants a simple, elegant ceremony or an extravagant celebration designed by celebrity wedding planner David Tutera, Disney is ready to make their dreams come true. A bride can even enchance her fairy tale by wearing a gown from the Kirstie Kelly for Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings Collection based on each Disney princess.
No matter what a couple's taste is, there is something to offer everyone.
Disneyland Resort:
The ceremony and reception options at the Disneyland resort are one of a kind. Some couples have chosen to surround themselves with true magic inside Disney Animation at Disney's California Adventure.
Walt Disney World Resort:
One of the great things about having your wedding at the Walt Disney World Resort is the variety of venue options. From scuba diving at The Seas with Nemo & Friends to taking "the plunge" on the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, the possibilities are endless.
One of the more unique locations is Disney's Wedding Pavilion, which will celebrate its 15th anniversary in July. It is always the number one requested location for wedding ceremonies because of the back drop of Cinderella Castle.
Many couples choose to have their nuptials take place early in the morning in the World Showcase at Epcot. With 11 countries represented, a couple can be whisked away to an international wedding without leaving the United States.
The Walt Disney World Resort not only hosts weddings, but has also been a top domestic honeymoon destination for the past two decades. Annually, Disney Parks hosts more than 10,000 couples on their honeymoon.
Disney Cruise Line:
Another option is a wedding while sailing onboard the Disney Wonder or the Disney Magic. Guests have three wedding options while enjoying a Disney Cruise.
A romantic ceremony on Disney's private island, Castaway Cay, provides a pristine white sand beach, towering palms and crystal blue waters.
Guests can also exchange vows on Deck 7 Aft surrounded by the ocean or inside the intimate Cadillac and Sessions lounges.
Coming Soon:
Weddings and Honeymoons, Island style;
In 2011, Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons will celebrate their 20th anniversary and create new destination wedding products and services for the opening of Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, Ko Olina, Hawai'i.

Walt Disney Fun Fact:
During the fall of 1918, Walt Disney attempted to en-list for military service. Rejected because he was under age, only sixteen at the time. Instead, Walt Disney joined the Red Cross and was sent overseas to France, where he spent a year driving an ambulance and chauffeuring Red Cross officials. His ambulance was covered from stem to stern, not with stock camouflage, but with Disney cartoons.

Hey! They actually remembered Dr. Lee! Yippee!
I was so honored and pleased when the staff presented this lovely celebration button to me during my luncheon. Several actual members of Club 33 were enjoying lunch there and they approached me saying they miss me! Wow! Almost brought tears to my eyes (actually it did). Who would have thought that the Ol' Doc with his crooked bow tie was missed.
I wish to thank my special friend Laurel and her lovely family for treating me to lunch at the club.
THANK YOU!
Dr. Lee Visits Club 33 February 7th, 2010! The Doc Returns!
I haven't enjoyed an actual meal at Club 33 in almost 15 years.
The club is so exclusive, that not even cast members may arrange reservations. Most park cast members have never eaten at Club 33 and some don't even know it exists!
Walt's magic has left an endearing aura which surrounds the club in a luxurious blanket of mystery and marvel.
It was so wonderful to be back at the club and for once, the staff was waiting on me! Wow! I should have ordered them around a bit more, but hey, they're my friends and we had a terrific and nostalgic time! I'll be more bossy next time and I'll test the skills of the new bartender.
Even after 25 years of working here, I still love the park with all my heart.

Be Thrilled by The Un-expected:
Until now, Guests could only experience the thrill of " what will I get" after purchasing a three-inch Vinylmation figure and opening the package. But now, the Mickey Mouse shaped vinyl figures will soon be traded at D Street, the Vinylmation flagship store in Downtown Disney. More trading locations will be added in phases.
Luckily,Cast Members need not wear lanyards with 3-inch figures around their necks. A box with numerous doors that debuted at the first-ever D23 Expo in 2009 is being used for the new trading program.
Steven Miller, project manager for Disney Trading, spoke about the un-expected Guests reactions to the new offering at the expo.
"We created a mystery box and we had an open box", he saided. "When a Guest came to trade, nine times out of ten they chose the mystery box. We found that people like the thrill of the un-expected".

Five fun facts about Disney Pin Trading:
1... Disney Pin Trading began at the Walt Disney World Resort on Oct. 1, 1999.
2... An estimated 25,000 Cast Members trade pins with Guests at the Walt Disney World Resort, the Disneyland Resort and Disney Cruise Line each day.
3... The total number of pins available for Guests to trade from Cast Members lanyards on any given day is approximately 273,000.
4... Since 2000, more than 350 million pins have been traded. Taking into account that each pin measures approximately 1.75 inches, if laid end to end, the pins would cover the distance of almost four round trips from the Walt Disney World Resort to the Disneyland Resort.
5... The most expensive pin made was a Dream Jeweled Mickey Mouse pin covered in 130 different semi-precious stones that retailed for $1,295 and was released in a limited edition of three pins.
