After working 28 years at Club 33, it was so wonderful to return, but this time I was the guest!
Mickey and Pluto seemed happy to see me and I was sure happy to see them. Honestly, I miss Club 33, being there felt like home.

D23/Disney Expo:

The D23 Expo, the ultimate event for Disney fans, is right around the corner. Scheduled August 19-21 at the Anahiem Convention Center, the Expo will feature a first look at the next generation of Disney theme parks and attractions, exclusive sneak peeks of upcoming Disney films and ABC and Disney Channel television shows, and eye popping collection of never-before-displayed items in the Treasures of The Walt Disney Archives exhibit.

The event opens with the 2011 Disney Legends Ceremony. The newest inductees to receive the highest honor of The Walt Disney Company include Regis Philbin; Jim Henson; Disney Princeeses Jodi Benson, Paige O'Hara, Lea Salonga, Linda Larkin and Anika Noni Rose; Bo Boyd; Jack and Bonita Wrather; Guy williams; and Ray Watson. Guests will also get a behind-the-scenes look at projects in the works for Disney parks around the globe.

Guests will get a preview of upcoming films from The Walt Disney Studios, including exclusive video clips, live performances, filmmaker discussions and star appearances. At 6p.m., an advanced screening of "The Lion King" in Disney Digital 3D will be shown.

Joe Quesada, Marvel's cheif creative officer, will share the evolution of Marval beginning with its first comic book in 1939. Then, Disney Channel fans will get the chance to experience a live performance, featuring stars of the hit series "Shake It Up."
