Avoid Distractions:
Personal safety should be the first thought that guides your decisions. Be safety smart means avoiding distractions, especially while operating a vehicle. Here are a few important reminders to help you stay safe.
1...DON'T TEXT WHILE DRIVING... It is against the law in California,to send, read or compose text messages while driving. Currently, 9 states have laws banning texting while driving.
2...SLOW DOWN, "ARRIVE ALIVE,"... take the time to do tasks properly. Travel and work at a safe pace to reduce the risk of an accident. Obey all traffic signs when operating your vehicle.
3... PAY ATTENTION... It is easy to become sidetracked and distracted. Always focus on what you are doing, where you are going and what's happening around you.
