Dr. Lee Returning Home To Dine At Club 33

After working 28 years at Club 33, it was so wonderful to return, but this time I was the guest!
Mickey and Pluto seemed happy to see me and I was sure happy to see them. Honestly, I miss Club 33, being there felt like home.

The Office of Great Man Himself, Walt Disney!

The decor has changed, but the feeling one gets walking into this little office is, well, simply awe inspiring. This was the office of Walt Disney. It has been remodeled but much has not changed. Roy's office was right next door is now occupied by Shaun Cassidy Productions.
Walk through these doors and history reveals itself.

This is not the original desk, but the feeling of brilliance which once occupied this room is still present. There is a small walkway along the West wall which led to Walt's secretary. In that small room, Walt would receive treatments for his injured neck, which included traction and heat packs.

This picture shows a young Walt Disney in his office's kitchenette!

As you can see, the kitchenette has changed very little, it has been kept as original as possible. The old fashion steel cabinets with enamel finish are still there and work perfectly.

Thank you so much for the beautiful photos and great information on Walt's office and the studio.
As an avid Disnoid and former cast member at the Happiest Place on Earth I can say without a doubt Walt and Roy Disney influenced my career decision early in life. I learned from both these great men that nothing is impossible if you put your mind to it.

"The impossible is kinda fun" (Walt Disney)

In fact, a Walt quote I try to live by is..." I have a blind faith in the policy that quality, tempered with good judgement and showmanship will win out against all odds"
It looks like Walt was right. (Again)
