Dr. Lee Returning Home To Dine At Club 33

After working 28 years at Club 33, it was so wonderful to return, but this time I was the guest!
Mickey and Pluto seemed happy to see me and I was sure happy to see them. Honestly, I miss Club 33, being there felt like home.

A look back at Disneyland history:

In a few short months, on July 17,2010, Disneyland Park will celebrate it's 55th anniversary. Leading up to the special day,I will blog about the history of Disneyland, beginning with a look at what Disneyland could have been and how it came to be.
The original location for a Disney-theme park was across the street from the Burbank Studios. Walt Disney's ideas soon outgrew the 16 acres set aside for "Mickey Mouse Park," designed to be a childern's play area surronded by a train. Walt Disney soon began to look for a new place to make his dream a reality.
Herb Ryman was the artist behind the first rendering of Disneyland, created in one weekend under Walt Disney's supervision. Once the map was complete, Roy Disney was off to New York in hopes of impressing investors and securing financing for Walt's dream--Disneyland.

Great blog, I have been to the club 33 a few times in 1988 and had this lobster bisque soup, it was really tasty. Thanks for all the great stories and videos.
