This month marks the 82nd anniversary of the creation of Disney's most famous character and " friendship ambassador to the world," Mickey Mouse. The American icon was introduced Nov.18, 1928, in the first synchronized-sound cartoon,Steamboat Willie, and first created into a plush toy in 1930.
