Disney Legend Milt Albright, 97, passed away on Monday, April 7,2014. After seeing Walt Disney's success, Milt followed in his footsteps and also moved from Missouri to California. Milt's first role with the Walt Disney Studios was a junior accountant. Later he would transfer to help open Disneyland in 1955.
Some of Milt's notable roles include manager of Holidayland, a private party and picnic area, founder of the Magic Kingdom Club and concept developer for Grad Nite. After a stint in Marketing, he was promoted to manager of Guest Communications, a position he held until retiring in 1992.
In 2005, Milt was honored as a Disney Legend for his contributions to the company. Read more about Milt's Disney journey at d23.com
