Dr. Lee Returning Home To Dine At Club 33

After working 28 years at Club 33, it was so wonderful to return, but this time I was the guest!
Mickey and Pluto seemed happy to see me and I was sure happy to see them. Honestly, I miss Club 33, being there felt like home.

DISNEY:1959

As Hong Kong Disneyland embarks on the first significant expansion in its four-year history, lets take a look back at the single biggest growth spurt for the park that started it all. It was June 1959 when Walt introduced six of his new wonders to the world. That glorious summer-just fours years after opening its gates-Disneyland welcomed Matterhorn Bobsleds,Submarine Voyage, the Disneyland-Alweg Monorail System,Skyway Thru Glacier Grotto,Moterboat Cruise and Fantasyland Autopia. These six spectacular new attractions opened doors to never-before-experienced adventures that left park-goers awe-struck and ultimately heralded the arrival of the "E-ticket"-a term which, to this day, remains in the lexicon of popular culture and is used to describe the best of the best. This boom kicked off a great tradition of "plussing"that continues today at each and every Disney park around the world. As Walt famously said,"Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world."

Hi Dr. Lee,
I met you earlier today in Concord,CA and I am very gracious you decided to stop me and were so kind. I am curious about seeking employment at the Disneyland parks. I have heard that it is a system and once you are hired you have to work yourself up to the top. Is this true? I would appreciate any tips you have about gaining employment at Disneyland. Thanks again!
