Dr. Lee Returning Home To Dine At Club 33

After working 28 years at Club 33, it was so wonderful to return, but this time I was the guest!
Mickey and Pluto seemed happy to see me and I was sure happy to see them. Honestly, I miss Club 33, being there felt like home.

Bravissimo:to Luigi's Flying Tires test and adjust

Cars Land will open to Guests in Disney California Adventure Park on June 15, 2012, but Cast Members had the opportunity in March and April to take Luigi's Flying Tires out for a spin. Cast Members signed up for the four-hour shift to test the attraction-over and over-and provide feedback to Imagineers as the attraction nears completion. The test-and-adjust also gives Attractions Cast Members the opportunity to become familiar with their roles and to practice operating the attraction. All those Cast Members thinks it's really cool to see this attraction come together. It went from having no tires and just getting the fans to work, to installing software and now Cast Members are riding them. The vehicles look like oversized Fettuccini brand tires- the same tires Luigi proudly displays in his shop, Luigi's Casa della Tires. Once Guests are seated inside their tires, Luigi directs Guido to turn on the air compressor. Air is then pumped up through openings in the floor of the tire yard and the vehicles begin to float and fly. Guests control the direction of the vehicle by shifting their weight around and, with a turn of a lever, can make the vehicle spin. Throughout the test-and-adjust period, some Cast Members had more than 900 times experiening the sensation of flying on this attraction. See you in Cars Land...Dr Lee
