Fantasmic! debuts at Disneyland Park

Twenty years ago, evenings came to life at the Rivers of America when Mickey Mouse's vivid imagination revealed magical imagery with the nighttime spectacular Fantasmic! at Disneyland Park. Since May 13, 1992, Mickey has been conjuring up epic battles between classic Disney heroes and villains, transforming Tom Sawyer Island, the Sailing Ship Columbia and Mark Twain Riverboat into a spectacular water show with pyrotechnic and laser effects. The show has been continually updated with new technology, including high-definition projection against the 40-foot mist screens. Disney's Hollywood Studios opened its own version of the show in 1998, and Fantasmic!went international in 2011 with its debut at tokyo DisneySea.
